Tree Fest - Ashe County Arts Council
Decorated trees, ornaments, holiday crafts, gifts and miniature paintings
Opening Reception – 12/5 2pm - 4pm

 

11/27
Early Bird Shopping – Historic Downtown West Jefferson
Rudolph, Frosty the Snowman & Santa’s Elves will be visiting with downtown shoppers beginning 3:00pm

 

3:00pm Mrs. Claus will be in Bohemia giving a Christmas cookie
to each child that makes a visit

BackStreet Park is the place to be at 4:00 pm

Ashe Outreach Ministries will be serving chili, music will begin, hot chocolate
will be hot at 4:30pm and rides on the antique fire engine start,
Miss Estletoe will be making balloon animals,
Christmas caroling as a community, bonfires and a reading of
'Twas The Night Before Christmas

All this is happening until Santa Claus arrives on an antique fire truck

As darkness falls luminaries will decorate downtown and light the way to the live walk through nativity

A Special Family Storytime & Craft Program All ages
Ashe County Public Library

Saturday with Santa - Ashe Arts Center in Downtown West Jefferson 8:30am – 10:30am
Children of all ages are invited to enjoy a Christmas time treat, pictures with Santa, storytime with Mrs. Claus, holiday craft activity, music, milk and cookies. Receive a Christmas book and treat bag. Admission is $2 per student, children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults are free. Tickets and Pre-registration encouraged.
